Due to the increasing number of infections with SARS-Cov-2, the Berlin Security Conference 2020 / the 19th Congress on European Security and Defence can no longer be held as a physical event this year - even hybrid ones. We are very sorry to inform you that the BSC 2020 has to be postponed until 18 – 19 May 2021.

  • Free of charge as a member of parliament or an embassy staff member. The number of seats is limited.
  • Active member of a government, a ministry, the armed forces, a government organisation / agency dealing with security and defence or the civil service pay for two days 80 EUR and for one day 49 EUR
  • Students (an official student card is required) pay for two days 50 EUR and for one day 30 EUR
  • Member of a group other than those mentioned above pay for two days 895 EUR excl. tax and for one day 605 EUR per person, excl. tax

    Registration in text form with the aid of the registration form online, by e-mail, fax or letter is a precondition for attendance. The participation fee includes lunch, refreshments and beverages during the breaks, attendance of the evening reception and, as an addition to the conference documents, a subscription to the journal Behörden Spiegel for one year, so that you will be informed about further developments regarding the subjects of the conference on an ongoing basis. The subscription is automatically renewed free of charge. You can object to this at any time by means of an informal communication stating this desire. After receiving your registration, you will receive confirmation of receipt and, following this, confirmation of registration by e-mail and an invoice by surface mail. Due to the Covid-19 conditional requirements, the number of seats at the congress is limited to 520. Confirmation will be issued in the order in which registrations are received. If you cancel registration up to two weeks before the beginning of the event, a handling fee of 50 per cent of the participation fee will be charged. Any later than this, or if participants fail to attend, the entire participation fee will be charged. It is of course possible to send substitutes for registered participants. Participants deemed to be consumers will find the revocation right here.
